Leopard found dead in Betul

Around seven-year-old leopard was found dead near Bhoura village in north forest division, a forest official said here on Sunday. The carcass of the leopard was spotted by the forest guards during their routine patrol on the intervening nights of September 12 and 13. "Injury marks were found near the leopard's eyes," north forest division's divisional forest officer (DFO) A K Tiwari said. A post-mortem was conducted and nine samples were sent to the forensic laboratory for examination. "The exact reason behind the death will be known only after getting a detailed report from the laboratory," he said.
