Leopard killed with live wire trap in MP

leopard was electrocuted with a live wire trap laid by poachers in Pench National Park in Madhya Pradesh.


The carcass was found by a patrolling squad on Sunday night.


The electric wire was connected to a high tension line passing  through protected area.


An official said a rusted wire was laid on the ground and it was connected to 1100 KV wire from a nearby electrical pole.
